“World Without Water” is a black and white interactive video installation that speaks to the importance of water in our lives. It is about how our consciousness of water may effect humanity’s future with it. A waterless, hollow earth rotates above crashing beach waves in slow motion. The position of the earth moves in correlation to the position of viewers, suggesting they have a direct effect upon it. The pace and nature of this installation make it somewhat meditative. Motion tracking is provided by customized computer software and a webcam. (2020)
