INTERACTIVE WRITING
The need for emotional support in the U.S. for homeless persons and those in need is enormous. Jill Higson and I co-founded The Writing Den to help reconnect this demographic with their family, friends and loved ones by using the power of handwriting, cards, stationary and postage. Handwriting is a proven tool for increasing emotional support, putting thoughts into action, and enhancing self-understanding and accountability. The Writing Den operated as a fully 501-C3 non-profit in the cities of San Diego, New York City and Seattle from 2017 to 2022, re-connecting hundreds of those in need.
